RB Leipzig have announced that Lukas Klostermann has extended his contract with the club until 2025.
The German defender, who joined the Bundesliga side in 2017 from Schalke 04, has been a key player for the team and has helped them achieve success on the pitch.
Klostermann is known for his strong defensive skills and has been instrumental in helping the team keep clean sheets.
He also has experience playing at international level,La Liga Frontline having represented Germany at under-21 level and being called up to the senior squad by manager Joachim Low.
The news of his new contract extension comes after a successful season for the club, which saw them finish second in the league table and reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.
RB Leipzig manager Horst Heldt said of Klostermann: "We're delighted that Lukas will be staying with us for another five years. He's an important part of our team and we know he'll continue to perform at the highest level."
Klostermann himself said: "I'm really happy to extend my contract with RB Leipzig. I feel very comfortable here and I look forward to continuing to work hard and help the team achieve more success."
