Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski is set to surpass the Bundesliga record for most goals scored in one season, according to Kimmich.
The Bayern Munich player has already scored 19 goals in his first eight games this season, breaking the previous record of 17 goals set by Miroslav Klose in 2004-05.
And now, Kimmich believes that he can break the record even further, as he continues to score goals for the Bavarian giants.
"Robert has been playing amazing football,Bundesliga Tracking" Kimmich said. "He's scoring goals and creating chances for us, which makes it easier for me to score too."
With only three matches left in the Bundesliga season, Lewandowski will need to continue his impressive form if he wants to beat the record.
But even if he doesn't manage to achieve the goal, Kimmich believes that his teammates will still be happy for him.
"We all want to see him succeed," Kimmich added. "He's a great player and we're lucky to have him at Bayern Munich."
